Drypoint Etching

Drypoint etching was a fun project overall because I enjoy the printmaking aspect in general. Although there were some not as fun parts including actually etching into the plexi-glass, it was difficult because to get the line deep enough you had to push pretty hard but you could hardly ever get the line straight. The tool that we used was also a little uncomfortable on every part of my hand... but in the end it was worth it. Adding the watercolor to the print made it look a lot better in the end. I like how mine turned out because it looks like a simple view from a children's book from in the 1900's.
