Mya Christensen

My vector portrait includes Zach Galifianakis from a well-known movie scene. Behind him, I placed a hand drawn triangular pattern that counterbalances Zach's sharp features. I chose to use subtle colors within the triangles and then little bold bursts of color around the edges were happy accidents. I like how the almost rough texture on Zach is different than the smooth texture of the triangles, it creates more dimension within Zach. Overall, I think my piece has a lot of movement, drawing your eyes around the triangles and then being able to zoom in on Zach's character.
